Mais celui-ci évoque à la fois les pool-parties et la Nightlife façon West Coast, avec classe.
Jesse Kivel, pose sa voix avec nonchalance, voire insolence, comme Dave Gahan a pu le faire avant lui. C’est le Bryan Ferry californien.
L’ambiance est tour à tour dansante, farniente, romantico-mélancolique, disco. Le tout sur des textes faussement naïfs.

This duo from LA, Jesse Kivel & Zinzi Edmundson, made a quite friendly synth-pop album, tinged with certain nostalgia for the 80s. One more. But, this one reminds both stylish pool-parties and West Coast nightlife. Jesse Kivel pitches his voice with nonchalance and even insolence, as Dave Gahan was able to do before him. He is somehow the "Califirnian Bryan Ferry".The atmosphere is alternately dancing-relaxing-romantic-melancholic-disco. All of it wrapping up falsely naive lyrics.
